Module 1 Introduction to the history of corsetry and the collection.
Objectives: Deepen the history and techniques of haute couture corsetry, understand the creative and technical needs of an exclusive collection.
History and Evolution of Haute Couture Corsetry
Corsetry in the history of fashion, from the 19th century to today.
Difference between prêt-à-porter lingerie and haute couture.
The main designers and fashion houses that have contributed to the creation of luxury lingerie.
Designing a Corsetry Collection
Analysis of the needs of a haute couture collection: aesthetics, functionality, and innovation.
Creation of a concept board (inspiration, mood, colors, materials).
Identification of the target market and trends.
Analysis of garments: corsets, bustiers, guêpières, structures.
Explanation of the final project
Module 2 Introduction to pattern making and development
Objective: Learn how to create basic patterns for lingerie and transform them into high fashion prototypes.
Pattern Making Techniques for Lingerie
Creation of basic patterns for corsets and lingerie (design and development of the pattern).
Study of measurements, adjustments and fittings on dress forms.
Advanced pattern making techniques for high fashion: cuts, lines, draping and adjustments.

Lesson 4: Development of the Pattern for the Collection
Creation of custom patterns for the collection.
Techniques for modification and adaptation based on the characteristics of the body and style preferences.

Module 3 Study of fabric and finishes
Objective: Choose and work with luxury materials suitable for haute couture lingerie.
Fabrics and Materials for Lingerie
Introduction to fine fabrics: silk, lace, tulle, chiffon, organza, cotton, brocades.
Study of the characteristics of each material and how they influence the construction of the garment.
Working with different fabrics to achieve support or comfort.
Luxury Finishes and Details
Embroidery, rhinestones, beads, lace and other luxury applications for lingerie.
Finishing techniques for edges, invisible seams, and lace applications.
Use of materials such as silk satin, embroidered tulle, and velvet to create exclusive effects. (ruffles, trims, banners).
Module 4 sewing techniques
Objective: Learn advanced tailoring techniques to sew and finish high fashion lingerie.
Sewing for High Fashion Lingerie
Advanced sewing techniques for corsets and lingerie (invisible seams, finished edges, bias, etc.).
Explanation of couture corset with internal support, boning, stays, hooks, and eyelets.
Application of delicate seams for lace and transparent fabrics.

Creation of tailored seams, draping (moulage) and couture finishes.
Hand sewing techniques for lace applications and decorations.
Processing details flawlessly to create durable and luxurious pieces.
Module 5 Prototyping and troubleshooting
Objective: Create the prototype of the collection and make the necessary adjustments.
Collection Prototyping(30 hours)
Creation of prototypes for the collection, from the first sample to the final optimization.
Tests to assess fit and aesthetic appearance.
Modifications of the patterns based on the results of the tests, including adjustments to fit and details.

Objective: Complete the lingerie collection and prepare it for the final presentation.
Completion of the Lingerie Collection
Finalization of the sketches of the collection pieces: finishing touches, final applications, and details.
Preparation of the final presentation and final revisions.
Creation of a lookbook for the collection.
Preparation of a hypothetical private presentation of the collection.
How to present a high fashion collection: set design, styling, modeling, communication.
Discussion and feedback on the collection from the instructor.
